June Sunset - Pugwash Lighthouse

The Pugwash lighthouse was originally built in the 1870's, in the 'church house' design. The first keeper was Rufus F Bent. The lighthouse's red light was reported to have been seen from at least 12 miles offshore. The new 'skeleton' lighthouse was built in 1960.
