Opened in 1997, the Confederation Bridge links the provinces of New Brunswick and Prince Edward Island via the trans-Canada highway across the Abegweit Passage of the Northumberland Strait. At 12.9 km (8 miles) it is Canadas longest bridge and the worlds longest bridge over ice covered waters.
B Calder began professionally painting in 2021, after being forced to retire due to a disability called Trigeminal Neuralgia (TN). She has been a cottager on the Northumberland Strait for over 50 years and dreams of one day making it her permanent home.
