Rainy Day At Heather’s – Heather Beach NS 
   'Heather's' is a government-funded public beach on the Northumberland Strait in Cumberland County Nova Scotia. B Calder’s earliest memories of Heather’s include many stubbed toes from running over the rocks from her cottage at Sandy Cove to meet friends at the ‘Big Canteen’.  Her signature is one of the hundreds (possably thousands) that graced the rafters of the old canteen, now a private cottage.
    B Calder began professionally painting in 2021, after being forced to retire due to a disability called Trigeminal Neuralgia (TN). She has been a cottager on the Northumberland Strait for over 50 years and dreams of one day making it her permanent home.
